digitizing introduction
InNews is involved in the digitizing business since 1997.
We have extensive experience in software development for digital libraries. We have great need for this kind of software ourselves: InNews has a digital archive of all Greek press clippings from 1997 to this day.
Everyday all Greek newspapers and magazines are digitized (about 10.000 pages per day).
Some stats:
- 50.000.000 records - each record has 8 metadata fields
- 25.000.000 clippings, searchable through our Web interface
- 15.000 records per day
- Since 1-1-2007 we also digitize all Greek TV channels (24 / 7 / 365)
- Ability to perform complex queries on all data
